Pros

Experience i got there so I can get a great job somewhere else

Cons

Everything else: Pay Bosses( If you aren't racist you don't get managerial positions) Higher ups do not care about complaints from employees especially those without degrees HR doesn't care about your complaints either Did I mention pay??... well ill mention it again, the pay is terrible and they pay less than all other hospital systems in the area. Their benefits.... all that glitters isn't gold. Crappy insurance The CEO i'm pretty sure most of the employees have never seen her in person. Dog eat dog world there. If you're a person of color basically rule of thumb is, you don't matter here.

Cons

worst job I've ever had, culture is toxic and "cliquish", management is lost and confused, no real training or direction, expensive benefits, favoritism and tense/high stress work environment

Pros

West Georgia location still feels like a family environment. Local management is kind and supportive even through struggles. Lots of job openings if you want to work at another location.

Cons

The new benefits in 2018 are a joke. Matching 1/4 percent on 403b for each percent we put in. They added a pension plan..but we all know how quickly that money can leave. Benefits went to a High Deductible and HSA card program. I work for a hospital and my insurance covers less of the business we are actually in. Suddenly feel like just a number not an employee. Management openly admits they are just as confused on new policies and procedures. So sad that a smooth running ship feels like it's sinking now with the Wellstar Merger. Such a shame....the once great Community Hospital will soon be no more.
