      IN THE EMERGENCY DEPARTMENTHorrible Managers, Low Pay, Incompetent Charge Nurses that don't want to be bothered

      Management barely qualify, don't want to be bothered are racist and have favorites, never come on the floor, and only care about customer service

      Pros

      Only one good reason to work for Wellstar and that's for the tuition reimbursement. Wellstar provides $4500.00 a year in reimbursement . No obligation. I completed my Master Degree. So sad very few employees take a advantage of the wonderful benefit.

      Cons

      While working at Wellstar I experience, favoritism, nepotism, racism and bullying from co workers and I worked in hostile work environment, no consistent training. The pay scale is extremely low and not competitive in the job market. I experience Leadership with poor communication skills verbally and written. I experience unethical behavior from Leadership daily.

      Being part of a team that delivers world class healthcare.

      Cons

      Employees cannot trust that they can go to HR and report serious violations of wellstar rules and expect anything to be done. HR will act as if they care but they brush issues under the rug and do nothing.
