Pros

Project Managers are devoted, knowledgeable, and hardworking, they are always willing to lend a helping hand! The company has free snacks, coffee and monthly birthday cakes.

Cons

At Welocalize, employees are merely a number, do not expect to be acknowledged for your talents and hard work. There is a major disconnection between work-life balance. As a project manager, expect to work 50-60 hours weekly and you'll be lucky if you get to take a lunch! There is no OT compensation for the project manager position because it is salary based. The company claims to have "global coverage" but in reality, employees are forced to juggle the workload of two different timezones at no additional incentives. This place is like quicksand, the workload will eat you alive. You basically have to devote your entire professional and personal life to the company. In doing so, you will get very little, if any, recognition/appreciation. Decisions of who gets promoted/raises are filled with major biases. Having an opinion and questioning processes doesn't sit well with management.

Pros

The flexible schedule is great! If you’re someone that has a busy life, but needs a job, try this one. They offer a higher hour cap often, as well as incentives. There are also opportunities to work on additional projects, which can be interesting and even fun.

Cons

The entrance exams almost makes the company feel like a scam. They require full job training and can take weeks to complete before you’re offered. All of this is unpaid! Not to mention, the test is outdated. So sometimes even if you get the right answer, it’s still flagged as wrong.

Pros

Good pay, simple tasks, and work your own schedule whenever you’d like.

Cons

Múltiple QA’s with No true assistance in providing consistent and or up to date training. When you’re below the threshold they send you one training video and then make you take a test if you fail you are let go. You are allowed two tries but one video with barely any help, one example, and no further assistance is not helpful at all. unclear ways of trying to get help with anything regarding work, no proper training, and no clear ladder of who is a higher up for any department since there are too many for just one position in especially supervisors and other management that are supposed to be helpful in your career growth which they do not truly consider.
