      50% off meals some customers engage in conversation which can be fun meet interesting people

      Cons

      no breaks, i've worked seven hours straight for past three days. did online orientation then came back two days later and they threw me in the front after only showing me how to use register for 5 minutes then got mad when mistakes were made incredibly understaffed DM is anal about everything angry customers. always.

      Decent benefits; Half day Fridays during the summer; fair pay; free frosty's on occassion

      Cons

      The company makes poor human resource decisions hiring unnecessary positions only to lay them off down the road. I've worked at Wendy's corporate for 5 years and been through 4 rounds of layoffs because of upper management's poor decisions. The company is publicly traded. This means they don't care AT ALL about the employees...even though they claim to. When investors want to see something happen, it trickles down to the average employee completely bypassing executives (who could easily afford a pay cut)

      Team was excellent to work with and I made many friends. Some good food! Teaches you a lot about food service industry

      Management plays favorites Little room for adjustment in schedule Pay was minuscule Schedule was not available until approx. 12 hours before its starting date.
