We appreciate hearing from you and are grateful for your passion and your contributions to the team and the people we serve! And.... we so fully agree with you that we need more team members. The challenges of finding great team members to join us have certainly been noticed by everyone - and we're actively recruiting all of the time for talented people to be a part of our mission. We think we have a great story to tell... and many ways in which people can serve the organization!!

The residents make you feel welcome! Their like a second family. It's really a nice environment to work at.

Cons

It gets frustrating but you got to hide that sometimes. It sucks when your short staffed.

One of the things we most encourage is the development of meaningful relationships between the people who we serve and the people who serve them. Hearing that they are like a second family to you is exactly what leads to team member fulfillment at the same time it brings higher levels of health and wellbeing to our residents and clients. We take pride in that - and appreciate that you experience positive personal results, as well! The staffing issues are of concern to us all. Please continue to give suggestions to your team and leaders about how we can tackle these challenges together. We want the best team possible... and working short staffed is a strain on everyone. Thank you for your resilience and endurance!!

We love that you have such positive experiences with your team and with the people we serve. That's what we most want to have happen for every team member in each of our communities. Every person who develops this level of participation and relationship with their team and with residents and families has an opportunity to make a significant impact. The Network Support Center spends a significant amount of time with new leaders, but we can always do more. Leadership retention is a key priority for us in 2016 - we want to be a great place for persons working in all types of positions at WesleyLife. We also want to ensure that we consistently have the best leaders in the right seats at all times so selecting (and retaining) the right people in key seats continues to be a priority. We continue to improve and fine tune our work environment - and your comments are helpful. Thank you for your support of the team - we're so glad you're a part of our team!
