Pros

The residents and staff at each of the local community locations are great - generally committed to the mission of the organization. They work well despite the meddling of the corporate office leadership at the local level.

Cons

Arrogant leadership at the corporate level presume to know how things should be done across the state. Often chasing the latest fad and trying to sell the organization on progressive leadership and strategic knowledge. The morale is poor and declining.

Thank you for your kind words regarding our residents and team members. We’re blessed to have great people who we call friends among our team members and those whom we serve. Providing our team members the best possible culture is key in living out our mission. Making sure we have the right people who share the vision is key, too. We’re confident our current team possess the passion, sets a good example and shares the same customer and team member-centric philosophy need to achieve our mission.

Pros

Wonderful residents that are taken advantage of monetarily.

Cons

Very poor moral. Top management cares little about workers. Middle mgmt covers thier butts because afraid they will lose jobs. If you disagree with anything from the top, out the door. Watched way too many very good executives lose their jobs for stupid stuff. Top cares little about staffing ratios. Only interested in bottom line.

Wonderful staff and residents make it a lot of fun.

Ridiculous standards make for a really hard culture and some of the demands are very difficult leaving a zero for work/life balance.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We appreciate the time you devote to our residents, and are glad that your relationships with them bring you joy! Achieving work-life balance can be challenging. As a health and well-being organization, we offer team member programming designed to decrease stress, “disconnect,” and enhance wellness. We encourage you, first, to make sure your leader is aware of your concerns regarding your workload. Second, we hope you will take care of YOU by taking advantage of the programming at your community that is designed to help us all achieve balance in our lives. Thank you for all you do for WesleyLife!
