Shameful

Pros

Still a few good people left, though many are continuing to leave for better places. Company continues to be open to setting your own schedule. If somehow Weston survives this without adding CH2M to the title as the current buzz is, there will be so much room for advancement with all the holes, you could move up quickly.

Cons

The company used to be one that had lower salaries, but made up for that with other benefits. Unfortunately those benefits are now gone. Weston has one of the worst health insurance packages in the business now, have cancelled raises for 2015, and have told employees they will not be paid more than 40 hours a week (but will continue to bill the client if you want to work more than 40 hours each week). Most of the great personnel in this company have left for greener pastures, and have not been replaced. Yet the company is still losing money and isn't making any real changes that could help turn it around. The new CEO even refuses to accept questions from the staff as previous CEOs have, and will only release prerecorded statements each quarter (at what is said to be an employee owned company).

Pros

very flexible with working from home and flex hours great team-mates had great culture when could focus on the giving back to society

Cons

Upper management tries to hard to get big contract even if it is not what the company is qualified to do. Often promotions are based on buddy feel not who is next/qualified, so need to be very out-spoken to get promoted. Horrible training program. They company promotes more of fight to work rather than let's make sure you grow with required skills.

Weston won't make it...

Pros

Weston has a strong industry reputation and brand. The services are top notch, the industry knows who Weston is, the general public doesn't. Medium sized company, not large and anonymous.

Cons

Weston's operations still operates with the mentality the money is flowing. Weston's growth has slowed drastically, and too rise above the problems of the last 3 years, operations needs to change it's thinking.
