The press would lead you to believe this is a friendly family owned company - while family owned is correct, friendly is not. If you work here be prepared to give up your life and get no credit for the hard long hours you will work. The upper management is disorganized. There is a severe lack of planning, no clear direction, and no trust in people to do the job they were hired to do. The owner does not recognize the talented people he has and has let slip through his mismanaged brand. It is a severely toxic work environment.

• Ever expanding and poorly delineated responsibilities • Lack of planning to allow enough prep time for sales shows and other initiatives that should be known months in advance • There is a branding/marketing attempt to build a myth based on the owner's life that feels false - it is beyond strange to help write and sell the good qualities of the owner as part of marketing collateral while simultaneously hear him yelling at employees in his office and see them come out angry and holding back tears • The marketing material would leave the average consumer to think the company Will Leather Goods has been in business in Eugene, Oregon 30+ years and their leather goods are made in that town, neither of which is true • Will wants to be a "Great American Company" and unfortunately they are trying to do that by copying the past three decades of American companies outsourcing the bulk of their product manufacturing abroad - in Will's case Mexico.
