Pros

cant think of one redeeming quality of this company other than the fact it USED to treat its employees fairly

Cons

- commission cut i am now making less than HALF of the commission i used to - they are increasing our minimums to make less money - my regional manager is probably the dumbest person i have ever met when it comes to sales EX: he is unable to answer ANY sales questions along the lines of how to find orders when its slow, etc. i cant tell you the amount of time he has said to me after i asked a question "this isnt the best answer but i never had to deal with XXX problem because my market was just always busy. i dont know what to tell you" ive gotten worlds of help from my other TSR's and managers in other regions. i have learned 0 things from him other than how quickly one person can make my head ache. - this company deserves 0 stars not even worth of 1. please save yourself from hating every second of your life by working here

Pros

I got to be pretty close to a lot of my coworkers during my 4 years with the company and towards the end of my tenure that was the only positive aspect of the job. I thought I had found my forever job and company when I joined WillScot in early 2020 and leaving in 2024 was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.

Cons

Territory Sales Managers at WillScot used to have the ability to earn great money if they put in the hard work. Corporate roled out “new and improved” comp plans in Sept 2023 and Jan 2024 that effectively caused more work for less pay. The decrease in pay along with extreme micromanaging, huge rate increases with no added value for the customers, horrible billing issues, and the oldest fleet in the industry caused the sales role to be an exhausting uphill battle on a daily basis. Would be a decent place to break into sales for a recent college graduate.

Pros

The branch level employees are hard working, helpful and the best assets of the company they know the markets, issues and regional rules but shrink smaller and small with every poor decision made.

Cons

The comp plan is confusing and impossible to achieve, the ideas laid out by upper management don’t match the technology or the protocols put in place. The communication is non existent departments change policies frequently without leaving notice. The compensation is awful and just when you think it can’t get worse cause your working 80+ hours a week and still getting scolded they let people go that know what they are doing days after people quit and these are the only ones that know what they are doing, they exaggerate things so dramatically branch management is unable to perform its duties rationally.
