Pros

Good discount, I love my work family. Connecting with people and helping them shop for trips and such. Closed thanksgiving.

Cons

Loss prevention is everything to them yet the don’t give any tools to prevent it. They can invest in cameras that we can’t even view to prosecute for stores yet they can’t give the high shrink stores sensormatic machines. Not enough payroll to run a store, get typical daily task done, makes sales and prevent loss prevention. We get threaten by shoplifters way to much and don’t feel safe at the store always. Getting written up for things like lp when they don’t give us the right tools is insane and to get threatened with being fired over it. We do everything we can to prevent shoplifting. We get called the b word, get cussed out at, and get threatened to beat us up. Do you guys care about our safety? We don’t get paid enough for all we do. Getting written up for not making goals. And being worried about getting fired is ridiculous and unprofessional on the company. This is why people leave. When we have an area manager that calls shoplifters something completely rude and discriminating instead of what we are told to call them. Tell us this and thinks it’s okay. Felt super uncomfortable yet no one will say anything because we are all scared to get fired for telling on someone because this company is all about favoritism and pretty girls. Everything. So out of date with the system. Calculator not accurate. Training was horrible. The processes. Is there even a regional manager? Most companies have them. Lack of communication and common sense. I've never had a district manager, regional manager, lp auditor I couldn't just call randomly and have an adult conversation with. Super unapproachable and downright rude.

Pros

Good discount of 40% off.

Cons

Loss prevention is everything- it is the end of the world if you find a sensor, tag, or hanger. The work environment is extremely stressful and intense. You're essentially trying to run a store, get typical daily tasks done, make sales and prevent theft with laughably low payroll. District and Area managers are extremely unapproachable and in most cases downright rude (at least in my district) Paid time off is almost nonexistent, and understandably so considering over half the year is considered "blackout" periods for requesting off. Not enough pay for the work that's expected. This is a company that blatantly doesn't care for their employees.

Pros

They would rather promote within than outside. There are countless opportunities for growth in the company.

Cons

I honestly don't have anything I have always enjoyed working for the company
