Pros

Private company with ownership working along side coaching us. Division silos are almost gone, the power to work together. Smaller company where ownership knows who is making a difference and politics are almost non-existent. Ownership grew up in the wood products business, knows the business and is well respected in the industry.

Cons

Not as many opportunities as a large multinational company. In house training is lacking, some of the benefits are not as good as larger companies.

Pros

Its a traditional behavior interview with emphasis on experience. There are a lot of 20+ yr veterans so people like working there.

Cons

Its very slow to make decisions in the organization, they like to maintain status quo as much as possible.
