Best place that I've worked

Pros

WorkOS has been by far the best place that I've worked. I'll echo what previous reviewers have said as well about employees being intelligent, motivated, and driven. Engineering and non-engineering teams are incredibly collaborative and helpful making cross-functional work feel like less effort than I've found at past companies. We're constantly pushed to learn new skills and take ownership of projects. I've been really happy with the benefits as well which include a number of perks for remote-first work.

Cons

There really haven't been any cons so far. The only thing I'd say is that you have to be comfortable wearing many hats, but that's a common expectation for a company of WorkOS's size.

Pros

Management team is excellent and enables you to do your best work. No micromanagement, but accountability. Lots of opportunity to grow skills and be creative. Employees are smart, motivated, and driven.

Cons

If you need lots of hands on direction, this is probably not the place for you.

Pros

The company is full of talented individuals. I'm continually impressed by the caliber of the people I get to work with every day. WorkOS is very much Engineering-led and has a strong commitment to quality and technical excellence. "Kindness" is a word that comes up often at WorkOS. It's one of the company's operating principles, and it shows. Everyone is always willing to help each other out and go the extra mile for one another. Disagreements, which are inevitable anytime you have multiple people working together, are worked through amicably. Salary and compensation are excellent, and being fully remote is a huge plus. If you're looking for a great place to work, look no further. You won't regret it.

Cons

As an early-stage startup, things can be a little chaotic at times. You have to be ready to wear a lot of hats and step out of your comfort zone. Some folks (like myself), enjoy this and take it in stride, but I realize it's not for everyone. Obviously this will change as the company grows and more process emerges, so keep that mind.
