Pros

* Its employee recognition program works well within the company. * Benefits

Cons

* Inadequate leadership starting from the highest level. * Lack of clarity in the promotion process. * The Dublin office is situated in an unsafe area. * Bonuses are tied to unattainable goals. * During the recent layoffs, the company provided minimal support to employees and failed to actively engage with them. * Trust in management and the company culture has been severely damaged in recent months. * There are significant concerns regarding pay equity, which were brought up with HR, but they chose to dismiss the issue and claimed it had already been resolved.

Thank you for your feedback. Our pay equity data is public information and we are happy to have full pay equity in the organsiation. Like a lot of large technology companies, we continue to work on our gender pay gap position which is largely due to over representation and under representation across certain job families across our quartiles. We wish you all the best in your next career opportunity and thank you for your contribution while you were here.

Pros

The people and the product

Cons

Serious lack of empathy. Top heavy management with no respect for employees, very poor communication and transparency. The current redundancy process is a perfect example . This process was so badly handled.. vague comms from the start . Selection criteria a joke ..when challenged to provide specific detail , refused to do this instead providing a generic template to all. No information on what the new org structure was going to be and why certain people did not fit. The entire redundancy process has brought a lot of unnecessary anxiety not only to those at high risk but everyone. This was an opportunity for WH to honour its values of respect for the human and conduct a fair process that was objective transparent and respectful. Instead their conduct has been a real disappointment with long lasting consequences.. trust is gone and the culture destroyed. For those leaving with a package they are the lucky ones!

Thank you for sharing your feelings. We acknowledge the redundancy process is a difficult and stressful time for all. We are strictly governed by the legalities of the process and have been limited in what we can communicate to the organisation while this process is underway. Once it has been completed, we will be in a position to discuss many of the items you refer to above. We are asking for patience and understanding in the interim.

Bad working Atmosphere

Pros

Job allows you to grow based on nationality, to those who are from the nation. Friendly atmosphere based on same race policy. Even school education is enough to get into globoforce, dublin through a proper recommendation and word by some people working at management level. so even a person with retail experience can get into the organisation as team leader or manager. School passed or under graduates well dressed, well perfumed women with ability to "just talk" and no work can go ahead in the organistion

Cons

Unfavourable work atmosphere depending on the person you work under. Favoritism is prevalent, so even if u are good at your job, you will head nowhere, Autocratic way of management, in short as an employee you cannot be part of process improvement or cud imagine to put forward a better way of working things out. salary based on favourtisim.

We are truly disappointed to read these comments. We have always placed a great deal of pride in our commitment to a workplace of fairness, equity and opportunity. While we certainly appreciate your viewpoint and welcome all feedback, we’d encourage you to consider a few points about our office and culture. We do not claim to be perfect and to that end it’s very likely there’s more we could do to share these statistics internally as well: Our Dublin office is home to employees from 22 nations, speaking 19 languages, and offers a culture rich with diversity – of humans, as well as thought. This past year, we launched our new “Respect for All,” giving all employees a way to recognize the rich diversity of backgrounds, experiences, viewpoints, and ideas that we collectively bring to the company every day. This past year we received a record-setting number of ideas from employees as part of the GloboInnovation, our internal innovation program open to all. In the past year, 17% of our employees have been promoted or transferred internally to new, challenging roles, across a variety of levels and departments. When combined with similar changes in a 24 month period, more than 30% of our employees have progressed in their career! We encourage any employee who has concerns to speak with any member of the HR team or their manager. We are dedicated to doing great things together as a company and welcome continuing the conversation to ensure that all employees feel respected and valued.
