Pros

They have a tap.. to coffee that doesn't work?

Cons

Everything. You could literally tell every single employee was a dim witted failure and a huge loser. Not the type of "successful" failures. They Will try to lead you like this company is expanding and really going places. It is not. Refer to the above paragraph if wondering why. I read another review said that it is a boys club. For that to be true it would first assume that they are normal human beings. They are really some of the dumbest losers California has to offer. Come in knowing this, and you'll at least know?

Ok place to get your feet wet as an engineer, not a place where good engineering practices / principles are applied.

Pros

Unlimited PTO (Can get away with 1-2 months). Free lunch when they had an office prior to the pandemic.

Cons

Tech Management is poor. They just want you to get things done regardless of the complexity and risks that are introduced into the systems. Tons of tech debt that piles up proportional to every day that goes by. Not a place to park the years of your professional career.

Pros

Good while it lasted. Is the firm still around?

Cons

After 7 years with the firm we received a letter which did not say much at all. Covid was mentioned but this was just before the lock down. Sure, covid had just got on the front page, but the reasoning was sketchy. A recent merger and re-organization suggested that the firm had been sold on, and that all of the IT had been outsourced to India. We got no contact from any managers. Severance was almost non-existent, now nothing to apply for because of the lock down. I am a single parent and with no notice, and no job to go to, I am financially ruined. This was a callous multiple firing dressed up as a covid triggered event. Or was it - they will not say.
