Pros

No pros just people who don't know how to run a business.

Cons

Most of the leadership are people from South Africa but white, they don't follow any rules for government holidays in the US... especially for African Americans holidays. When they had the layoffs in November just before the holidays shows the company's character.

Pros

It's awesome being close to cutting-edge technology.

Cons

Primary focus is on commercial. Subject to market competition. Competing with wind, solar, and fossil fuel power costs. It's not likely to make anyone rich. Strong focus on working from the office. No new remote workers allowed - confirm via job postings. Before you move, better check rent and home prices to bear on a salary decision - don't let that monthly payment be more than 15% of your income after taxes. Remote working is frowned upon by upper management with strong prejudice. If faced with a need to work from home for a day or two, just take the time off. The judgement really lays a strong groundwork for "workplace theater" as it is sometimes called. A powerful member of senior management has talked several times about selecting individuals at random to interview them to see if they are fully-loaded. Seems like senior management micro-management. Upper management management practices do not appear to be study-derived or informed by clean research but rather from "conclusion shopping" online.
