Pros

Great company to work for!!! Exceptional front line employees who express committment and engagement through Team Rally events, making quality products for our customers, and an open door policy. I have worked for this company for one year and have seen so much excitement at the plants, conferences, and global events. Our Company just sent more than 150 people to Disney in Orlando, Florida where teams showcased their Kaizen events through skits performed on stage. The team from McCalla, Alabama won and then got to travel to Shaghai to compete globally at the Team Rally event. This is a company that not only knows how to work hard to WIN but knows how to have fun while doing it!!!

Cons

This is a company that is still building the foundation. If you don't like being a part of the solution and want to be told everything to do, this is not the company for you. Our team has high energy and we have a lot of hard workers looking to make our company the supplier of choice globally for interiors. Negativity is not part of our equation. We love positive people who can think on their own for implementing quality solutions with excellent problem solving capabilities.

Pros

Generally speaking, the workforce is a committed workforce. The pay and benefits are good. (The only reason for the overall rating of 2 vs. a 1 is because the pay and benefits are generally good. However, salaried bonuses are seldomly paid out as results have been so poor.) Good innovation. Changes have been made to poor leadership and there may be an opportunity to reset for the future.

Cons

The company lost its way in the last four or five years. Previous "leadership" (not Steve Meszaros - he is no longer CEO even though he's still listed on Glassdoor as such - Lu Kai was CEO for 2 years and has been replaced this year), had no idea how to lead and manage in a global environment. The Chinese leadership was clueless to different cultures and environments and believed that they are the only ones with the answers. Some local leadership is untrustworthy and lie and have been allowed to get away with lies. The company is financially unstable. The culture has deteriorated dramatically making it a place where good people want to leave but many feel trapped. (Been there too long and are afraid of the unknown.)

Pros

Liked people I worked with and my job

Cons

Office folks think they are nobility while the shop are peasants. HR people are complete joke! They preach about employees are number 1 that’s funnier than anything I’ve heard. Their business model is work employees into the ground and keep that turnover percent high as can be. 6 days 12 hours per, not enough, you now work 7 days. 75 - 80 hours a WEEK, stop complaining. But hey, if you’re 1 minute late you’re getting stupid point. Now office people aren’t held to that so they work 38 or maybe 40 hours that’s it. Seriously makes my blood pressure spike just thinking about it
