Not What it seems

Pros

There are some high quality people working at Corizon, unfortunately not enough of them are in leadership positions.

Cons

After merger, everything became a tug-o-war between the two corporate offices. Hope this has been resolved with a new CEO. Seems the board felt Sr level hires had to be ivey league educated or possess similar level work experience - which only meant they paid a great deal for individuals that needed to learn a great deal to do their job. Probably 1/3 of them did an adequate job...which is why this company is struggling to be profitable.

Pros

The company took over 2 weeks ago, and there are no pros. I am grateful that the people I'm working with were not Corizon employees prior to the takeover. I can trust the people I work with.

Cons

There are too many for such a small space. Word of advice stay far away from this company. We were promised so much. The work environment is getting more dangerous every day. I fear for my life and the lives of my coworkers.

Pros

Corporate is very professional when they perform site visits. Working with people in HR at the corporate level is outstanding. I have found everyone from Regional and beyond to be extraordinary.

Cons

The actual work site is ridiculous. The HSA is incompetent and out of touch with the needs of the staff. There are constant threats of corrective action for minor infractions. There is no opportunity given for educating or coaching the staff only threats of write-ups. Although I believe corporate is very competent they do not observe enough. They leave the reins in the hands of imbeciles who have no clue as to how to treat people or how to talk to people. Confidentiality is out the window. If you talk to the DON you might as well stand in the middle of the floor and yell out all of your business. Only until a corporate figure which we fell in love with showed up and started changing and updating things while the HSA was on medical leave did the atmosphere change. If corporate had any sense they would make a position change for someone that can effectively lead this work site.
