Pros
For the most part, I was quite independent and able to work as I pleased. This, however, was because management was bad and know one knew what was going on.
Cons
This place is ran by a handful of powerful white men who don't really seem to get along. Where there are some good eggs at the company, the overall atmosphere (we are required to be in office a handful of days) is toxic. You are paid at a very low rate, and the time off and benefits are abysmal. You only get 10 vacation days, 3 floating holidays, and 9 federal holidays. The company does not recognize MLK or Juneteenth as a holiday. When asking the CEO why we do not observe them he asked "Do you want me to give the company off for Yom Kippur as well?". Also, don't expect a 401K match because there is none. The entire C suite drives Teslas and Rivians, yet when I asked for a promotion I was met with "sorry that just comes with time and more responsibility". It was clear they have 0 intention of boosting anyones salary, even those who excel.
