      Highly Fast paced environment, not enough pay...

      Pros

      Great people to work with. If you like a fast paced environment this is the place for you. Zimmer is an implant distributor. In the warehouse you prepare implants to go out for surgeries. You can feel good about the difference you make in people's lives. Possible $50-$100 Bonuses if the Customer Service gals are able to bill out enough to meet the company goal.

      Cons

      For the amount of work you done...the pay isn't enough. Reviews don't come regularly scheduled. I finally had my FIRST review after several request 4 months after my start date. No pay raise was mentioned at all. I met/exceeded expectations and no pay raise. I only got a .50 cost of living increase and it wasn't even retroactive to my 1 year anniversary. When I asked why no raise I was told "with the budget and merger all we can offer you is the cost of living increase". Not enough help so the work load is overwhelming. You are doing the work of at least 2 people.

      Great mission, tough culture, poor community perception

      Creating products that are helping people living more fulfilling lives Low cost of living and short commute Many good people with strong values

      Cons

      Non-visible, non-engaging senior leadership. Little accountability and follow through by leadership Poorly designed processes, leading to redundancy, back-door politics and loopholes Little perception of authenticity or commitment to the employee Lots of turf-wars and in-fighting between senior leaders

      Toxic and Getting Worse

      Pros

      Good pay. Interesting products. Claim that they want a high performance culture. However, management insists on forced ranking which encourages competition and undercutting each other.

      Cons

      People stretched doing work of 2-3 ppl due to policy of not replacing those who leave. Threat of layoffs due to the merger with Biomet. Constant hassle from project managers with unreasonable expectations for turnaround time given number of assignments. Upper management has not adjusted expectations of work output to the reduced size of workforce.
