Pros

The most notable benefit is the company’s name recognition—it can carry some weight on a resume. Beyond that, any other "pros" really depend on your specific team or manager. Consistency across the organization is lacking, so your experience may vary widely.

Cons

There have been ongoing challenges with leadership and management, particularly around accountability for poor decisions. While transparency is emphasized in company messaging, it doesn’t always translate into day-to-day operations, which can lead to confusion and frustration. Employees are often viewed more as resources than individuals, and work-life balance can be difficult to maintain. Recognition and advancement can sometimes appear to be influenced more by internal relationships than by performance. Compensation is below market in many cases, and benefits have gradually declined over recent years. Since 2023, there have been annual layoffs in February, with some additional reductions happening more quietly at other times of the year, contributing to a sense of instability. The overall environment has become more challenging, and there are valid concerns about the company's long-term direction.

Pros

Your long-suffering co-workers are amazing and are genuinely interested in working for a great company that appreciates them and rewards them for their contributions.

Cons

Sadly, this is not that company. Morale is low due to wage freezes and loss of the #1 benefit. The leadership team is eroding and the decisions coming from the CEO seem increasingly delusional.

Pros

My salary is fair, work from home option, RSU

Cons

The benefits that led me to chose Zoom are now gone including raises, bonuses, monthly stipend for things like internet. Upper management has no idea what the are doing and give no directive. Little to no collaboration cross functionally due to internal politics. Fear is used to drive long hours with no reward. Disorganized and poor use of tools. Poor transfer of knowledge internally.
