      Toxic leadership stifles passion

      Pros

      The pay is good and competitive.

      Cons

      The benefits and sense of fulfillment have nose dived from where it used to be. I’ve had multiple managers that did not understand the skillsets of their own teams and chose to lead by fear tactics rather than empathy and mentorship. By the end of my time here, my colleagues and I all felt disrespected and undesired. Management-level innovation merely follows the thought process: “what is Microsoft and Google doing? Let’s do that too!”

      Extremely weak leadership and quickly fading benefits

      - Benefits and culture were good when I started

      Cons

      - Very weak and inexperienced leadership (majority of CEO direct reports) - Culture of speed that negates almost all strategy - Stale pay, promotions, and career growth - Rapidly declining morale due to the 3 items above

      Zoom is a brand for meetings

      Cons

      management knows nothing about tech, and company is removed from index. The the CTO office are polluted with esp. bad management in the top level, half baked features, and many engineers seem to be busy but on wrong things!
