Pros

Pay is good and competitive; generous with promotions. There are lots of really genuine, kind people here all trying to survive.

Cons

Where to start. Here's my list: -Terribly toxic. Leadership is erratic in decision-making and does not listen to needs of the business. -The company lacks vision and strategy--we just do whatever the fad is with other tech companies (DEI layoffs, restructurings, flattening orgs, etc.). -Sr Leadership expects employees to be online all the time and respond to pings in evenings and on weekends. -It is clear leadership cares only for bottom line and has no problem slashing benefits, committed-to comp programs, and employees to hit their marks, while never considering decisions they've made to get us here. -Lots of terrible decisions made without check from SLT that make working here harder (examples - 5 direct-report minimum--has created total chaos in my org; 50 mile radius for RTO; launching Zoom-products internally and forcing switches when the products are clearly not ready; shift away from diversity, equity, and inclusion as values).

We appreciate you sharing your perspective. It’s clear you care deeply about Zoom and the people you work with, and we take feedback like this seriously. While we’re proud of the many dedicated and talented individuals across the company, we also recognize that change, especially at scale, can create challenges. We appreciate your continued dedication, and if you have any further comments or feedback, please reach out to engagement@zoom.us.
