Pros

When I first joined Zoom in 2021, there were a lot of pros about the company. Stock price was high, employee perks were nice, and the overall culture was great. As an employee you felt taken care of and respected. Working remotely was the norm, and the workload was reasonable.

Cons

With changes in upper management and direct management, the philosophy of personal time became non-existent. My team would work sometimes seven days a week to deliver on extreme deadlines. Policies were put in place that didn’t allow production changes until after working hours, which meant that after working a full day, you had to get back on later to work more. Projects were never organized or tracked properly, and everything became a top priority all at once.
