Pros

Being a woman, I have had nothing but support from the owners and encouragement to succeed in my career there. Over 95% of the management is women! It is a great place to work. Management encourages communication, are open to ideas, and help foster a healthy environment for personal and professional development. The mission and vision of the company IS the future of healthcare and it is fantastic to see that they are moving to make a change in the system. Benefits and compensation are great. If you put in some effort and succeed at your work, it will be recognized and you will be rewarded here.

Cons

I can not think of one thing to list here. Be prepared to go through an extensive interview process as they only select employees that provide value to the organization and the future of healthcare!

Over-worked, under-appreciated, disrespected.

Pros

The employees and providers are high-quality and truly care about their patients. I believe the patient experience is in sharp contrast to that of an employee.

Cons

Excellent employees taken for granted, constant negative feedback from management, frequent turnover, required to work weekends and most federal holidays without any extra compensation. A company focused solely on growth and maximizing income, without regard for a positive working environment or work-life balance. Unfortunately, this attitude trickles down from the very top where negative feedback is met with anger and threats.

Pros

Room for growth! This company has a great product and would be an amazing contribution to the communities it is in! It is fun to be a part of a team that is truly going to make a difference in the health care field. To watch it grow - and be a part of that was really spectacular.

Cons

There is a LOT of open discrimination towards females and people of younger ages that work at ZoomCare - even though they are fully qualified. They claim to be a family and be open, but they are very secretive. One of the founders in particular was very inappropriate with his approach to speaking with others, and very concerned about money on his side. It seems as if they are slowly taking away the benefits of the employees and not listening to their employees. Additionally, ZoomCare required many more hours than negotiated in the contract, refused to compensate for them - resulting in unhappy employees. This type of situation has led to a gossipy core of employees, and not a fun place to work.
