Pros

Direct deposit is on time, and typically correct.

Cons

Headline sums it up. Company growth based on acquisition; buy company, reassign employees, lower pay, then force people into resignation by providing no guidance/training/support. If that's not the design, it definitely feels that way on the acquired employee side. Growth by technology company and existing account takeover, not by efficiencies and superior solutions. Comp packages lower than peers/competitors. Ridiculous 401k matching at end of FY throws the benefit of compound interest in the trash. Did I mention it's discretionary, even with large YoY profit increase through COVID (work intensified immensely, no increase in pay/comp other than a "thanks" and an extra day off, which felt more like a "you should be thanking us"). Best believe they were touting all of this in the quarterly shareholder releases though. Large organization, excessive amount of managers/directors/senior management without sufficient workforce. This typically leads in real information getting lost "in the shuffle" of middle/senior management and never to a level that can force change. Tenure gets promotion over capability and execution. Ideas met with "that's not how we do it" versus entire regions identifying lapses in processes or simple improvements to processes. Have seen so many promotions based solely on who "stays in their lane" while doing barely more than minimum. They love to tout length of employee tenure, however skills deteriorate quickly with the lack of efficiency. Silo upon silo of different teams supposed to "work together to common goal" yet everyone prioritizes themself, and then whatever manager complains louder wins. Who loses, the client. Tools...lots of them. None of the most important talk or work in unison, causing redundant work done all day across nearly all departments, minus the ones who decide what tools are put into production. Exit interview denied, even upon request. I'm sure HR or whomever is responsible to responding to these is going to do a generic copy/paste, and even so without the ability to rebuttal said generic response, it's not as useful to potential readers as it could be.

Stable and great people

Pros

I thoroughly enjoy working with my colleagues at ePlus - they're a great group! I enjoy the support and flexibility. The company is stable, the upper management acts with integrity and kindness as well.

Cons

No paid parental leave - they have benefits to cover 6-8 weeks at 60% but if I leave ePlus, it will be for a company that has this benefit even if I take a pay cut. For a company that promotes getting more women into tech, this is a HUGE drawback - companies of equivalent size are doing it, and giving more paid time off as well.
