Pros
Co-workers were friendly and approachable. There was a high level of flexibility in my schedule (shift hours back/forth from typical 8-5, occasional work-from-home if needed). Pay was reasonable, benefits were standard. Personal growth was very encouraged (courses, department trainings, cross-training with other employees). Promotions were slow to come, but they are there for those who are patient and show the ability to grow.
Cons
Work/life balance slowly deteriorated over the time I was there. Company is growing quickly, making several acquisitions a year as well as making internal changes (department reorganizations, software upgrades, etc.). Overhead personnel headcount has not been increased to handle the workload of all these changes, nor has compensation increased to make up for any of it to the employees left to do it all. Also, many of the benefits I mentioned are department specific. I noticed a lot of variability in how flexible, supportive, and responsive managers were.
