Pros
It's a permanent remote job, which is a major advantage in today’s economy, where simply going outside can be costly. You will have plenty of opportunities to cross-train in various functions, and if you successfully acquire the necessary skills, promotion is possible. Highlevel also organizes company retreats and places a strong emphasis on recognizing the achievements of employees that contribute to the company's success.
Cons
Many employees at that start-up felt overworked. Although the company had great potential and was rapidly growing, the demands felt robotic. It became clear that the company was under-resourced and sometimes understaffed due to people quitting. Leadership choices made it harder to stay motivated. While there was a sense of camaraderie, favoritism was evident amongst Sr. Leadership. It is a customer-centric business which means you have to be a lot more flexible in your delivery of information because things change frequently. Communication as a company wasn't that great, either.
