Pros

- on site gym - free snacks - nice facilities

Cons

- IT Management. Overall the entire IT management from top to bottom are useless. The CEO should be concern the amount of people that leaves IT on the regular basis. If this is not a concern , well then it is expected by CEO as well, how engineers, developers, etc are treated by IT management.

Hello, iHerb has an extremely low turnover rate and management values the relationships they build with their team-members. It sounds like our management style was not an environment that was conducive for your success. We want all of our team members to enjoy working here and we hope that in your current role you are working for a team that you can thrive in.

Needs to work on leadership

Pros

Benefits are decent. The management style is hands off, with little to no micromanaging. Its a pro but also a con as it doesn't work for everyone. The Irvine office is in a great location. I would say it's a good place to start, but I wouldn't plan on staying long.

Cons

The culture is terrible. Executives and leadership aren't big on training or inspiring their work force.

Pros

- Great corporate events - Nice office space - Quiet environment - Gym, game room, kitchen, cafe, bike storage, lactation room, patio & grill, park - Tons of complimentary food and drinks - Team lunches/dinners (during long hours) - Awesome 401K matching - Reliable colleagues - Tech savvy/heavy company (laptop provided) - Training by really intelligent and dedicated colleagues - Pay is okay - Ability to work from home, but has its limitations on access

Cons

- Long hours/lack of work life balance (60-70 hr weeks) - Inefficient direct management due to lack of experience - Unstructured tasks/lack of time management - Manager isn’t trained/lack knowledge of all duties within the dept. - Understaffed dept. - No flexibility for newcomers - Rely on chat for communication vs. team meetings - Heavy workload and last minute changes/requests on duties already completed - Only recognize 6 holidays (not including MLK or Veterans) - Transitioned from FTO (Flexible Time Off) to accruing limited PTO based on length of employment

Thank you for your feedback. We are taking action to make sure all of the teams get the same work-life balance, and we definitely don’t expect such long regular hours. We have also been bringing in more management that are better trained and equipped to lead a tech-savvy group and will also motivate them to create that extra flexibility. We believe our PTO program is generous but will take feedback to improve it. The move from FTO was a result of hearing our people want something more tangible and close to other companies which was the resulting PTO system. We will continuously get the feedback on the new programs and tweak within our reasonable limits. - BT Bitarafan
