While we appreciate you taking the time to leave your feedback as it relates to your experience working at iHerb, it is disappointing to hear that we were not given the opportunity to address your concerns while you were still employed at one of our locations. iHerb prides itself in the fact that we have one of the lowest turnover rates in our industry. Management here at iHerb makes great strides to institute and follow a system of fair and just business practices ensuring that all employees are given an opportunity to succeed. We certainly wish you the best of luck in future endeavors.

I'm sorry to hear that your experience working for iHerb was less than great. iHerb takes compensation of its team members seriously and we are very competitive in the market. Since I am not aware of what department you worked in I can't address the politics comment; however, I can address the comment as a whole. Many team members may misconstrued certain changes to their work environment as politically motivated when in fact it is what is in the best interest of iHerb as a company.

Pros

None that I can say

Cons

I'm rather surprised at the number of positive reviews. It's good to know that other departments had it better, but my former colleague once told me that she was explicitly asked by HR to leave a 5-star review when she first joined the company, so there's that. If you're a true product person, then you better dodge this bullet. They once had a promising product org, but I saw it crumble in front of eyes, so there's no one left to hire a competent product person, let alone the upper management that understands what product management means. If you're desperate to get a job or like being told what to do and collect your paychecks, then by all means, come and work here. This place is a constant revolving door of talents and has the highest turnover rates that I've ever seen. There was even an incident where the team was excited to welcome a new VP of Product (a position that was vacant for more than a year) but guess what, he never showed up! What a joke, he didn't even last a day. It's truly unfortunate because I've met one of the brightest folks here, but management couldn't handle them because they were too smart -- seriously. They weren't afraid to vocalize their concerns over management's illogical decisions, and the next thing you know, a lead was fired, then a whole host of remaining leads and team members began to leave. The only way you succeed here is to be a family member of the executive leadership or by never asking the right questions and simply obeying what they tell you to do like a good servant. Then you'll be up for back-to-back promotions, hooray!
