Pros

They are usually open to discussing technical improvements that make life easier for everybody. (Sometimes they only pretend to be. The first time I've encountered that. But I guess it comes with the mentality I'll describe in the cons.)

Cons

They engage in toxic positivity. Questionable ideas and inconsiderate people who repeatedly waste other people's time have to be tolerated. Managers might tell you that the "tone was the problem" but when asked how to phrase it better, they don't know either. Just don't say it, I guess. People who cause problems get promoted while others with superior knowledge don't. I'm not talking about myself here but what I've observed in other teams. I was alright with my own position. Although, they kept asking me about career goals when it was obvious that there was nothing to advance to within vidIQ. It's a small-ish company with a very limited amount of leadership roles.

Pros

Motivated and friendly team. Energetic and skillful colleagues. Some great managers.

Cons

Quick and not so logical plan changes completely pivoting into another direction. Some ideas can get put on hold, borrowed and used later. Different gifts given based on country and these days with worldwide shipping thats a cringe. A group of over 10 employees, including really highly skilled ones, fired all on one day due to course change - looks unreliable to me.

Pros

I am so impressed with vidIQ's company culture, atmosphere and the people. The company is bigger that you probably expect, and consists of amazing, open and friendly people all working remotely from different parts of the world. Since I joined there's so much that has happened already, and even though the pace is relatively fast, there's flexibility so you can do your hard work when it best suits YOU and your lifestyle. For me this is very important because I like to work in the middle of the night sometimes, and that's how I'm most productive. In short: - fully remote - flexible working hours - great, friendly atmosphere - really passionate CEO - management that listens (!) - wellness add-on - phone & internet bill add-on

Cons

When I joined I was anticipating flaws because the job and the company seemed a little too good to be true. I have been here for a short time, but could not find any flaws just yet.
