๐ข Look at them grow! A couple of years ago, our environmental team partnered with Bristol County Agricultural High School to recover 8 eastern box turtle eggs and give our shelled friends a head start as part of a wildlife conservation effort to help protect the species. Four of the eggs hatched and were raised in captivity for two years to increase their size and chances of survival upon release. Before sending them off, the team attached radio transmitters to the turtles so that we can track their location while crews work in our rights of way.
