What an honor for Kinecta Federal Credit Union to have witnessed the unveiling of the Manhattan Beach rainbow crosswalk on the Strand. “The city of Manhattan Beach formally unveiled its rainbow crosswalk at the Manhattan Beach Pier on Tuesday, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by more than 100 city representatives and community members. The event drew Manhattan Beach city councilmembers, city staff, Manhattan Beach Unified School District school board members and administrators, PFLAG Manhattan Beach/South Bay, the Manhattan Beach Chamber of Commerce, local merchants, and more.

Kinecta Federal Credit Union DEI Council has been working with Spicy Green Book (SGB) to empower black-owned food and drink businesses to thrive in the marketplace. SGB provides free professional services to entrepreneurs in the community, including online marketing and advertising, content creation, photography and videography, and business development education. On June 11th we sponsored their second Food Market Event where over 30 vendors participated.
