Congratulations to Sanna Marie Jones, one of Valley's respiratory therapists and one of our May 2023 Employees of the Month! See what her colleague had to say: "She is so deserving of this and would never admit it. Her humility would prevent her from acknowledging the work she's done to improve patient outcomes and progress clinical care. She's the ultimate multi-tool for our department and tempered well with measurable qualifications to create accurate and progressive care plans that meet patients and multi-disciplinary staff where they are in their own process. She manages courageous conversations with poise and decisive action when needed."

Making Patients Feel Seen and Heard, Congrats to May Hero, Brianna Fader Congratulations to Brianna Fader, a Clinic Coordinator in our Time Square Dermatology Clinic and one of our May 2023 Employees of the Month! See what her colleagues had to say: "Bri has been with Valley about five years as an MA but recently transitioned to a back office coordinator position. As an MA she rocked but as a coordinator, there is no one better. She cares for her staff like family and goes over and above for her patients. There isn't one specific thing I can pick out. She's an amazing, caring human all the way around. Her communication skills are like no other. She makes sure her patients are taken care of from start to finish always with a smile and kind words. I always hear her say, "We are here for you." She is someone other MAs should aspire to be. I can't say enough about her. Valley and patients are lucky to have her."

Congratulations to Ashley Brown, Outreach Volunteer of the Quarter! Every year we strive to make positive impacts in our community, but we could not do it without the support of our amazing outreach volunteers. In 2022, Ashley volunteered at two separate bike helmet fitting events and was one of the first to sign up to support more in 2023. Not only do these events provide helmets to families that would otherwise be unable to afford them, but they provide valuable education on how to keep children safe while they ride. Ashley has been invaluable in helping us make a difference in the lives of those we serve and truly emulates our mission of what it means to care for our community like family. In fact, during her first volunteer event, she brought her literal family along to help! Even when it feels as if we're doing something small, every time we show up, it actively demonstrates to our community that we care. So, thank you for being remarkable, Ashley!
