Congratulations to Bill Park, MD, a provider in our Pulmonary Clinic and our July 2022 Provider of the Month! "Bill works harder than any person I have ever met and has somehow managed to keep on top of all his admin duties while working (seemingly) around the clock in the ICU." "Dr. Park is the personification of an excellent provider. He is very up to date with respect to treatment, treats his patients and others with respect, and has truly helped this organization Weather many difficult tasks, from the COVID pandemic and its effect on medical specialties and the inpatient side of Valley, to his guidance when we on-boarded Southlake Clinic, to multiple other projects/areas."

Congratulations to Maddisen Eskildsen, an Imaging Services Rep with our MRI team and one of Valley's July 2022 Heroes! Her nominee wrote: "No matter what the day hands to Maddisen, she just does it. It can change for her every day. When we are training a new fellow employee, they typically sit where her desk is and she just finds a new place, without question, without anger, just moves over. She also has been so helpful to each area of her team, whether she is to be a scheduler, front desk check in, and more recently, records. She just changes her hat to be the best in whatever venture our bosses ask of her. It's not easy to do that, so to me, as one of her fellow team members, I think she is all of our hero. She just flies to the next seat, changes out her hat and works as hard as she can. Thank you, Maddisen. I appreciate you so much each and every day."

THANK YOU to everyone who volunteered or attended the BeTheHOPE Walk last Saturday, July 16. As always, it was an amazing, very fun day raising funds to support cancer patients, oncology programs and care at Valley Medical Center and other local organizations. Valley contributed the talents of many wonderful volunteers, including Chase, a paw-pular addition to our medical tent. The extra good news is that our Valley-staffed medical tent treated only two very minor scrapes, so that's a win for the walk as well.
