I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Boots in Jun 2022
Interview
Had to complete an online application and the next day I was invited for an interview. Had to reschedule multiple times due to Covid, and the manager alongside recruitment office were very understanding of this. The interview itself was held in the manager's office, upstairs in the back. When I arrived at the store, the staff had already been informed and they were all really lovely and welcoming, and promptly got the manager for me. I was nervous, but the manager was calming and a nice guy. There were two stages of the interview: "Why do you want to work here?" and competency based questions. They select questions based on your weaknesses found in the online application, so be prepared to be assessed on such. There are a lot of questions on how you would sell something to a customer, as well as how you would go about recommending a service.

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Boots (Poole, England) in Mar 2022
Interview
Completed a 30 minute online assessment asking situational questions, as well as rating what you feel you are etc. Was invited to interview after and booked - was only 5 days way. Short interview, I was escorted in and skipped through most questions (as some werent relevant to the position I applied for) lasted around 10 mins, all staff and interviewer were lovely and really positive. They let me know about the store, wanted to know what I would do in situations - didnt ask much about previous experience. I was called back that afternoon and offered the job!
