I applied online. I interviewed at Boots (Law, Scotland) in Aug 2018
Interview
Interview went great as far as I was concerned and the interviewer seemed impressed. Was told I would get a phone call or an email at the end of the week telling me the outcome...never happened. I chased this up with an email to the company and they then sent out an email telling me I was unsuccessful in my application. They said that they were VERY impressed with my application and my interview, but I didn't get the job??? Seems like my face didn't fit or I was too old (probably both). This has left me feeling really negative about job hunting now.

Question 1
Q. Was asked to choose a Boots branded healthcare product and sell it to the interviewer
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Boots in Oct 2017
Interview
Followed a successful completed situational judgement assessment and personality test online. Remember to bring proof of identity and right to work in the UK for the interview - you'll be advised in email invite to an interview. Overall very standard and general interview questions - why Boots specifically, competency skills, teamwork, conflict at work in the past and future ambitions. Interviewer was also a qualified pharmacist/ store manager and very friendly which made the general setting quite relaxed.

Question 1
Describe a time when you had to deal with an unhappy customer
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Boots (Hull, England) in Jun 2018
Interview
Had to do an online assessment which was made up of 80 questions, then I received an email a couple of days later inviting me to an interview.
Pretty good interview, the manager was really friendly and immediately put me at ease. It was a competency based interview and then we went onto the shop floor where I was shown around. I then had to pick a product and talk about it - I slipped up a bit here because I should have probably read the leaflet inside!
I didn’t get the job but I was rang the day after which I thought was good, and she gave me feedback.
