Pros

Good pay, flexible hours and a few nice people in the company

Cons

Crap CEO, everything was outsourced to India. 0 quality control. All they care about is doing it fast and rushing a bad product out the door. Cold work environment, no one really cared about anything. Everyone seemed to know about all the issues within the company however no one seemed to do anything about it.

Pros

Prior to being acquired by AFS, we were one of the highest rated companies to work for in the entire Tampa Bay area. We were truly appreciated and valued for our skills and business knowledge, and the entire company felt more like a family than just a business. But that all changed after the acquisition, and now I see so much talent being shown the door with nothing more than a boot on their rear. It's just so sad.

Cons

The cons for working for AFS are so many I doubt I am allowed the space to write it all out. Business decisions being made at nearly every level are so ridiculous it simply boggles my mind. There is simply no possibly way the CEO and his hand-picked clones have the long-term interests of this company at heart. Their only concern is to save that precious Rupee, regardless of the impact to clients or employees, and to make everything "look good on paper". I do not believe these people are ignorant or unintelligent, therefore the only logical conclusion I can draw when I see drastic decisions being made that have a highly negative impact on the business yet supposedly make the company as a whole look better on paper, is the fact that they are gearing up to sell the company. Nothing else makes any sense.

Persistent (but not consistent) Lies

Pros

They acquire good companies, They inspired me to look elsewhere and I found a position that actually pays me what I'm worth.

Cons

Upper management was consistently caught in lies. No straight answers were ever given. Customers were treated like garbage and our hands were tied in order to do anything productive or proactive for the customer.
