Pros

There's nothing good but the genuine coworkers

Cons

I can't speak for access as a whole and I wont. However, the Atlanta market is horrible. Upper management is a joke. Employees are not valued at all. Only thing they care about is keeping money in their pockets ie. Bonuses. There are some dedicated employees there who get treated just like crap. A company is only as strong as the members who drive them and those members are irrelevant. The turnover rate is high, team members are angry and they hate going to work. They treat customers like they are not important. There are at least 5 customers who are very dissatisfied with access. Dont believe me? Send a survey to every customer in the Atlanta market and ask them how they feel and I'll guarantee over half will speak on how unhappy they are. While everyone around the world were eating nice hot catered lunches during the 200 million dollars milestone, we were eating cold food from a "caterer" who also worked for the company at that time. Food was late getting there, cold, and not appropriate for the occasion. Sounds like a conflict of interest to me; but again, anything to save a dollar. Our big bad management chose this same caterer again for Christmas and guess what? Same outcome, food cold, food late getting there but again, anything to save a dollar especially if the bonuses are going into certain individuals' pockets. This is what they think of the employees though. Many employees have heard the executive team say "spend money, let the employees know they are appreciated." It's not happening. There are many employees on the borderline of resigning and trust me, these are employees that need to be kept. To be precise, there are 3 locations that makeup the Atlanta market. In Gainesville there is 1 person who knows their job. In Norcross there's 1 person, and in tucker there are 5. Of these individuals, only 3 are supervisors not even upper management. Now if you take these individuals away from access atlanta, atlanta will fail because the ones over them do not even possess the knowledge and skills they have to even partially run the company. Don't believe me? Test that theory. I assure you that the ones who should know about the business and how to manage it knows the bare minimum if that. However, they make the big bucks while the ones who actually drive the company are underpaid. Last but not least, an audit needs to be performed because there is definitely a misuse of funds going on. There's so much more but there aren't even enough characters to contain the information. This is only a snippet of Access Atlanta.

Thank you for taking the time to provide this review. We use this tool to identify areas where Access can improve as well as reinforce the positive things we are currently doing, so every review is helpful. I am glad you find your co-workers to be genuine and is a highlight of your job. We genuinely value our team members and understand that we are only as good as the people who represent us. I can guarantee that we are listening and we are making improvements to make sure every team member feels valued and respected. Last year as part of ongoing improvement we conducted focus groups/manager interviews all over the US and Latin America and released an internal survey to help us identify areas of opportunity for improvement. We talked to nearly 400 team members face to face and received 1,061 survey responses, which is about a 70% response rate. We invested in these opportunities to hear directly from our team members to understand what improvements are needed most – and changes are underway. To date, we have identified needs and have invested nearly $4M over the last year to improve medical benefits and 401k matching (just to name a couple). I am disappointed to hear your feedback on the caterer. We had an opportunity to keep business in the Access family by supporting a team member's family business, which I would absolutely prefer to do whenever possible. The fact that the quality of the product was poor is, however, unacceptable and clearly identifies a way to improve. Due to this review, this situation has been identified and has been reviewed with local Atlanta management. You expressed a concern over misuse of company funds in Atlanta. We audit the finances annually, so I am confident there isn't an issue with misappropriation of funds (which is a very serious criminal allegation that I would ask you report directly to me anytime and all the time), but as with all allegations we will look into it to verify there isn't a genuine issue. Finally, you indicated that there are many other concerns you have. As you note in your review, you have heard me say that all team members are appreciated and it is my expectation that all leaders respect and appreciate their teams, plain and simple. So, to the extent you do have more to say, please feel free to reach out to me so we can understand all the issues and put the right solutions in place. In the meantime, we will keep working to improve. Your feedback allows us to identify areas of concern and how we can be a better company internally and externally. Thank you for all you do at Access, Rob

Access nightmare job

Pros

Plenty of overtime hours which is great as long as you don't have a family or some kind of life outside work.

Cons

Under staffed under paid and over worked. Poor vehicle maintenance which leads to more safety concerns in an already back breaking job.

Thank you for your feedback. As stated previously, we use this tool (along with several others) to help identify strengths, weaknesses, issues that need to be addressed and where we might need to focus our energy. As a reminder, in accordance with our open-door policy, all Access team members are encouraged to bring concerns to the attention of the local management team, who is in the best position to provide immediate solutions, especially to anything unsafe that needs immediate attention. Simply put, we strive to properly staff every location allowing all of our team members the personal and family time that we all deserve, while properly compensating our team members at fair market and living wages. We have made many improvements in the past year alone to further our commitment to this goal and more our being implemented in 2016. Another one of our goals remains providing the very best service and due to our rapid growth we have relied on our team members to service our clients which can require overtime. While not ideal when overtime becomes the norm or excessive, we appreciate team members, like you, going the extra mile and providing the very best service to make sure our clients’ needs are met. Finally, a safe work environment is a minimum standard for us and workplace safety is fundamental to our success. All of our workplace policies and practices are designed to provide a safe work environment for every single team member. Any and all claims regarding any unsafe working practices will be investigated and handled swiftly. Please feel free to contact me with more specific information at ralston@accesscorp.com if you believe there is an unsafe situation that needs to be addressed. Thank you again for your review, Rob

Thank you for review. It is good to know that you enjoyed the benefits and the people here at Access along with the opportunity to learn the business. Depending on the immediate priorities, there can certainly be long hours and without a promotion or change in position, we do typically only review compensation annually. I am genuinely sorry you didn't feel that you got sufficient help or training for your position. Training and team member development is a major area of focus for 2016 as it is definitely an area where we have opportunity for improvement and where we are making investments currently. Finally, depending on the mistake made, we do have very low tolerance of mistakes, which really is required in many situations when managing confidential information. However, that is all the more reason we need to provide proper training and why we are focused on improving our training and team member development company-wide. Thanks again for the review, Rob
