      Pros

      The product is fantastic and there are SO many ways the product can be run. My colleagues and equals were some of the best and brightest I’ve worked with at any tech company.

      Cons

      Leadership does not care about employees, their needs, or their clients beyond product offering. From a CS perspective, no processes are put in place to support the team and goals, making it extraordinarily difficult to provide best in class service to clients. The company has no idea how to run a revenue org, with unnecessary teams, murky swim lanes, and a sales team that has carte blanche to do and act how they wish in the belief it will “net a sale”. Also huge “white straight man” focused culture, with minorities, especially people of color often getting passed for opportunities time and time again.

      Cons

      Everything. Poor communication. Strategic thrash. Unqualified, incompetent and arrogant people in leadership positions. The company demonstrated a severe degree of disrespect and lack of curiosity on how to actually drive results. Nepotism runs rampant at nearly every position and level of the organization. This has fueled so much closed mindedness and ignorance. God forbid you’re someone with the ability to think for themselves - you’ll be ranked an unwilling or insubordinate and be treated as pest needing to be exterminated.

      Pros

      The company approaches the product, customers and employees with equal respect, which shapes the company culture into a very positive one. Being consultative at all levels is core to Airtable's approach and it's been great to work at a company that places such as high value on every voice. There are a lot of ambitious people work at Airtable, and I believe it's a place that high achievers can thrive without being burnt out because there's such a high emphasis on being thoughtful, deliberate, and human-centric. Also - have to call out what a good job they do of attracting diverse, interesting, but always approachable people for the team. It's make it such a pleasant atmosphere. Cross-functional collaboration is also very strong here (a given, considering it's a product built on workplace collaboration).

      Cons

      Like I said, there's a lot of ambition. The scope of what we want and can achieve is so large that the work load is huge.
