Pros

Working from home, but now they're trying eliminate that.

Cons

As a 5 year claims adjuster I watched this company go from bad, to great to absolutely horrible. In it's current iteration with Steve Nosh at the helm, the company sees it's employees as just another body to answer the endless calls coming in. PTO has been all but eliminated because they refuse to hire enough people to cover the phone queue. If you're sick and need to call off, you're getting an occurrence. The supervisors and team leads are only there to tell you how horrible you are at your job when the constantly change and complicate the SOP's. They got rid of the employee recognition points program and made it clear they don't care about employee morale. If you ask a team lead off the record if it's going to get any better, some of the good team leads will tell you straight forward "it doesn't look like it any time soon". They even fired a woman with cancer for taking time to get treatments on FMLA, accusing her of faking her illness. Go online and visit America Auto Shield on social media and notice they have all comments disabled. That tells you everything you need to know about a company. If you value your energy and your mental and psychological health, this is not the place for you.

Pros

work schedule, remote work, decent co workers

Cons

company seems to be in a downward slide since changing ceo's. They state they are trying to increase profits without increasing costs, what they really mean is that if you are below a corporate level, you are going to do more work with no over time, and then get even more work thrown at you. This was a great place to work a year ago, now it is a stressful mess that makes me wonder why I shouldn't go back to the dealer world.

Pros

Benefits Direct Team Leads Pay

Cons

Upper management over the Team Leads. Continually making uneeded changes. Tell you to keep trying for higher positions then give them to people who have been there for less time even when you're the one answering all the questions you can. Ask for volunteers for projects no additional pay and mentioning how you go above an beyond and then they cut you right after Christmas after saying you don't have to worry about lay offs.
