Pros

I've been with the company for almost two years and during that time it's been an environment of change. It's been interesting to watch the company double in size and how they've really focused on employee development. The new employee training was completely overhauled and is some of the best training I've seen in my career. They implemented a quarterly bonus program and all employees are eligible to participate. But mostly, I feel like I can have a career here. They promote from within a lot.

Cons

Sometimes the customers can be harsh. It doesn't seem like we are ever fully staffed although they seem to be hiring like crazy. Finally, there is no community now that we are all remote. It can be difficult to build relationships with other employees outside of your immediate team.

Thank you for your feedback. You're right, we've completely overhauled the training program and we're glad that you appreciate all of the changes we've made. We're working to improve the sense of community in our virtual environment, some examples include reengaging our Engagement Committee, rolling out a new Well being committee and holding our first wellness challenge.

Pros

Working from home was great.

Cons

I was let go from american auto shield because they wouldn't work with me on an unfortunate part of having end stage renal disease and being on dialysis. It causes so much fatigue that I would over sleep my 5am alarm to wake up for a 6am start time. Especially the days following my treatment. I'd be so exhausted and getting home after 8:30pm. I offered to supply them with documentation of my diagnosis and it's categorizing as a disability. For a company that claims to promote good health and acceptance they sure fell short on accommodations for my disability.

Pros

Plenty of work to do, immediate team lead cares for us

Cons

Long term future seems shaky with the elimination of merit increases and the pausing of 401k’s being matched but requesting our job quality and work amount to be increased during peak season, not exactly the best way to increase morale
