Brutally honest review, if it does any good.
Pros
Decent pay, happy hour fridays, frequent food trucks, time off is fairly easy to get with a few caveats
Cons
Shills on Glassdoor. Some of these reviews are clearly curated by management. Always take these reviews with a grain of salt, mine included since this kind of thing self selects people who are unhappy, or those paid to fluff the average Severe micromanagement. There is little leeway in reaching daily goals regardless of outside circumstances. If you have to take a lot of phone calls that day, that sucks, you still better get the rest of your work done. Extremely high turnover. I have had more than 5 supervisors in under 4 years. You aren’t valued, and are easily replaceable. This isn’t necssarily the fault of management, it’s kind of the nature of a semi entry level position, but it would be nice to feel like what we do matters. Overtime expectations. Overtime is great if you can get it but it has to be approved by management and if they don’t approve it, you are expected to stay and work off the clock, which I’m pretty sure is illegal. No transparency. I have no idea what my supervisor and above positions do, and management evades giving a straight answer. Promotion beyond Account Rep 2 is difficult since I don’t know what is expected. Unequal pay. Like most corporations, they like to keep employees in the dark about what other employees make. Luckily I’m good enough friends with other employees so we talk and I found out I’m making significantly more than someone else doing the same job. Antiquated tech. I use a website that looks like it was programmed in the Clinton administration, and functions like it
