Pros

It's a paycheck and the company is stable since it's a monopoly and the customers don't have a choice. There are some really good people working there in mid-level and lower-level jobs, although most of them are unhappy and looking to leave.

Cons

Management has one goal: make more money for themselves at the expense of customers and employees. If this company was in a competitive environment, most customers would go elsewhere. If the job market was stronger, most employees would go elsewhere. This company is so stuck in the past, I'm surprised they don't still use rotary phones and have a pool of stenographers taking shorthand. Several good employees left recently after LESS THAN ONE YEAR with the company. Others are looking to get out as well.

Very laid back atmosphere, more like a big family.

Cons

Some find it hard to move up, it your happy with not advancing in your career. This is a great place to call home.

Pros

Aqua is a rare gem as a Utility Call Center. They don't work weekends and the Call Center is closed by 5:15 PM. The benefits are nice - Health, dental, vision, 401k, stock options. They give yearly Chairan awards if you work well.

Cons

Aqua has lack of opportunities for advancement across all levels. Aqua also needs to be more consistent on all levels of management.
