Pros

Fast paced, room for growth, changes in scenery, benefits include company compensated access to ubreakifix. Extremely generous mileage compensation, decent health plan.

Cons

I worked there 6 months and it went from a customer focused service to deliver and set up electronics to a sales position. The commissions are pitiful, at most $25/sale and their rules about trying to record people in their own homes make customers very uncomfortable and distrustful, and since you aren't allowed to contact customers after the deliveries you're given no opportunity to save a cancellation, but the company still counts them against you. I was #1 salesman in the region for 3 months, even met the ceo and had a photo op, but because my numbers were good they gave me more stops on my route, which I appreciated, however, since I was then seeing 2x the customers as my fellow teammates, my numbers skyrocketed despite the percentages remaining reasonable albeit ahead. I have prior sales experiences which was why I was successful to begin with. Then, witb no warning whatsoever, I was placed on unpaid administrative leave while the company investigated my sales tactics, I wasn't asked to give any statements or elaborations and after the "administrative leave" the company completely ghosted me. I never got any resolution whatsoever. This job is, in my opinion, extremely volatile and I strongly recommend against working here as you can be terminated either for not making enough sales, or apparently, making too many.

Pros

The money is decent for an entry level sales job

Cons

This is not a technical position. You are not doing anything a well trained monkey couldn't do in terms of fixing anyone's devices. Your whole job is to delay fixing the customer's problem while you fish around for selling points before you pitch your product. Any metrics that actually matter to management are all related to sales. If you fail to sell they will make sure you know your position is not stable and imply that "maybe the position isn't a great fit".

Pros

Great team. Lots of good people. Many strong managers in different departments. Good benefits, 401K etc. Unmetered vacation and flexible schedule with hybrid WFH and in-office options. The new office is really nice, fancy and modern with great amenities. Generous severance package if you do get laid off.

Cons

Basically no upward mobility, no career paths or ladder to be on. Very easy to get hired into a role and then get stuck there for years, even with strong performance reviews. I knew dozens of people who left because of feeling "stuck". They do annual mass layoffs, usually in November. Hundreds of people are laid off in this manner every year, it always makes the front page of the local business journal. This was always a scary time, many people joked about having to update their resume in Q4 "just in case". Many customers have bad experiences with the service and blow up the social channels, because of that it can sometimes feel like a company you may not exactly be proud to say you work for.

Thank you for your review. We are so proud of the benefits we are able to offer our employees and we're glad you were able to take advantage of them. While change within an organization of our size is typical, we know the recent disruptions have been very challenging for all our employees. Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback - we are always working to get better at how we live by our values.
