      Need more flexibility.

      Pros

      They have good Christmas Parties.

      Cons

      No flexibility as far as making up time, etc. Strictly by the clock with no compromise at all. Too rigorous for someone with a family when you can't take off. Not much vacation, most employees are hourly. So no give or take. Even the professional positions.

It does come as a surprise that you are having difficulty with flexibility as we have always promoted flexibility (Core Value) with our teams and their schedules. Of course, there are customer considerations that must also be balanced. Additionally, it is not clear what is meant by "strictly by the clock" . Due to the nature of our business, we must strictly follow a clock for purposes of accurately tracking time and compensating our teammates. Please take a moment to speak with your supervisor about your concerns. Your comments will also be shared with the company's leadership as well.

      Atlas Technologies - A great place to work!

      Pros

      Friendly atmosphere. Management and CEO are approachable and actively seek employee feedback in an effort to constantly improve. Lots of employee recognition and great benefits. Very involved in the community.

      Cons

      Parking is an issue on some occasions, although it has gotten much better recently. PTO is less than in previous jobs, although volunteer PTO can be earned to supplement time.

      Parking has been known to be an issue and that issue has been eliminated. In most cases, parking is available. Of course when we have company wide events, this creates some difficulties. Thank you for your comments regarding PTO. We spend a considerable amount of time analyzing our benefit package to ensure it can meet the needs of the employees and the company. Please continue to take advantage of VPTO as that has a positive impact on both you and our communities. UPDATE - Hopefully you have seen the improvement in parking and also our corporate events have moved to larger locations to make it easier and more enjoyable.

      Pros

      In my experience working with the team at Atlas Technologies, they have shown themselves to be a forward thinking company, who puts an emphasis on the growth and wellbeing of their employees. They offer a well-rounded benefit package, with options for customization based on the needs of the employee. The culture at Atlas is one of Learning/Teaching/Flexibility/Passion, as is reinforced by their Core Values. One of the key pluses for me when I came aboard was the longevity of Atlas’ senior level programs Team. Additionally, Atlas offers morale building events for employees, family picnics, holiday parties, etc. Atlas is involved in the community philanthropically in various organizations based on employee’s involvement and suggestions.

Thank you for your comments regarding the culture and the benefits. You are absolutely correct regarding longevity. Atlas will be 20 years old in October and we have many employees that have been here nearly the entire time.
