Pros

You will be exposed to new, up to date software and given opportunities to develop your skills. Employees have been known to be able to move on to greener pastures

Cons

Management does not trust employees which creates a hostile and sometimes miserable work environment Reckless and irresponsible management of the pandemic: -Axos is an entirely internet bank forcing all of it's employees to be in the office. I can't imagine more of a middle finger to the employees. It is essentially willing to risk lives to ensure "productivity -Installed click tracking software on employees computers Yearly salary increases are low. Salary will not raise with positive performance Be sure to understand the bonus package before accepting an offer. 1/2 of the bonuses you receive vests over 3 years. Meaning you will always be leaving cash on the table when you leave

We're sorry to hear your impressions of working at Axos. Our salaries typically comprise a base level plus a performance-based bonus target of 20%. Team members who exceed their performance goals regularly exceed their bonus targets. Importantly, there's no cap on bonus targets. That's one of the clearest illustrations of our meritocratic culture: you get out what you put in. On your last point: we believe that our team members are our most important resources, and we listen. Hope you've found a better fit.

Thanks for taking the time to share your feedback. We actually have a very unique culture with a clearly defined set of values. Our culture is a meritocracy, in which rewards and authority accrue to individuals on the basis of achievement, and in which excellence is promoted. We ask that our team members live our values, have a strong sense of individual purpose, and exhibit a deep emotional involvement in the success of our business. If you haven't already done so, please take the time to review the Axos Philosophy booklet -- available on the company Intranet -- to learn about our shared values and culture.

Pros

Easy to get hired, Great entry level position for someone who can get hired elsewhere

Cons

Consistently poor management, senior leaders have no problem reminding staff that they are replaceable and have zero loyalty in their people, they are short sighted and cost conscience to the detriment of its employees. Pay is low even though employees are held to nearly impossible standards. In addition zero investment is made into the well being and performance of employees. Recruiters will tout the opportunity as hip, growing and full of advancement opportunities. In reality working at Axos is like working in an old school boys club circa 1960. Do yourself a favor and run in the other direction. In addition: Benefits have high deductibles. 401K Match is a joke Bonuses are 50% Restricted Stock (3 years vesting) Check out BofI Federal Bank page for a clear picture. Same company new name.
