Thanks for sharing your input, but we have to correct a misunderstanding: hundreds of our team members -- over half of our workforce -- are working from home during the current crisis. As a digital bank with all critical features and functions available online and through our call centers rather than through branches, the crisis has generated a greater volume of new deposit and mortgage lending applications than we would otherwise experience. In the high-stress environment brought about by the pandemic, the availability of banking services and excellent customer service assume an even higher level of importance to our new and existing customers. Because of this, and because banks are considered essential businesses under the stay-at-home orders that have been issued by various states and cities, not all Axos team members are working from home. For those who are reporting to the office, we are doing our utmost to promote hygiene and safeguard their health and well-being.

Low Moral and Poor Management

Pros

The vacation benefits and sick leave. Employees are great. Management sucks.

Cons

Management only cares about making money and looking good. They could care less about the employees working long hours an being overworked. You get 2-3% pay raises annually for doing the job 2 or more people. Bonuses are ok but they’re taxed heavily.

Thank you for sharing your viewpoint. We are glad you appreciate our good vacation benefits and sick leave policy. We agree our employees are terrific. Like other publicly traded companies, we aim to provide an attractive return to our shareholders. That said, we’re about more than making money. Our mission is Banking Evolved: we believe in liberating people from the constraints of traditional banking. We’re disruptive, and we believe that success is earned. We offer a competitive compensation package that comprises a base salary and merit-based bonuses that are paid out twice a year (unfortunately, how much tax is withheld from those bonus payments is not our doing). We want you to succeed and grow at Axos, so please consider having a discussion directly with your manager about the issues that are on your mind.

Pros

There are some good people

Cons

Almost everything thing else I can think of. Extremely poor management and leadership, berating people in front of others, impossible timelines, grossly understaffed, threatening people, everything is based on negativity. Avoid at all costs. You will be sorry if you go there.

Thanks for the feedback. At Axos, we channel our inner Jedi as we focus on Banking Evolved. Good luck with the next phase of your career, steer clear of Mos Eisley, and may the Force be with you.
