      Pros

      Good team to work with, career advancement, mentorship, tuition reimbursement, team member skills workshops, free access to CE Direct and the CEU sites, self scheduling, my specific managers really work with you if you have something personal come up, good support

      Cons

      Favoritism, reprimand whole group instead of finding the individual, some managers do not honor self scheduling, CNIII 9with manager ok) can work no weekends while rest of staff have to work extra to balance, awards based on popular vote instead of hard work

      Good benefits. Definitely nice work environment. Great communities.

      Cons

      I found management to be inconsistent. Many played favorites. One unit I was at, if the manager didn't personally like you, but could find nothing to write you up on, they would make that persons life miserable until they left. I also found management to be deaf when it came to bullying. I witnessed so many good people leave when management would not help. Especially when the bully was a lower level manager.

      Pros

      Our nursing managers really cares about the staff. I am a tech in a 30 bed unit and when i first started, there would be 3 techs on the floor so we would each get ten patients. Recently she hired a lot of staff so now there will be four techs on the floor which really makes a huge difference! So now 2 techs will have 7 patients and the other 2 will have 8 patients which tremendously improve the quality of patient care. Another reason why Baycare is one the best hospitals is because they really emphasize on quality care which is was makes it one of the best hospitals in the Tampa Bay area.
