Pros

Cool office, PTO, good parking

Cons

Client Care management is untrustworthy, manipulative, and a culture killer. The team is overworked and under appreciated. This is what happens when you promote folks with no relevant management experience, or bring in your boy's club buddies even if they're a bad fit.

Thanks for taking the time to write a review. We take our manager performance seriously. In just the last six months preceding your review, we have, in fact, done 360 reviews of our client care managers, inviting our client care employees to participate. I hope you chose to take part. You could also speak directly with your HR business partner or you could also call our compliance hotline to share your concerns anonymously. As you see, we have multiple means for reporting manager concerns and since we have recently surveyed our team, please follow through with one of these methods as a current employee.

Pros

Work from home position.

Cons

This used to be a great place to work. It had a great start-up spirit. It was innovative and they treated the employees quite well. Now, not so much. All perks of the job are gone. No more unlimited vacation time, no bonuses, no birthday or anniversary bonus. Virtually no perks for the employees who are kept as part-time employees year after year. They pay is poor. They want the content analysts to have college degrees and many provide foreign language services. It is not an industry standard pay, maybe barely a minimum wage, as the employees have to pay for their own computer, internet and other home office associated costs. I have been there over 4 years and the content analysts don't even get index increases. The character per hour rating is degraded and diluted to the degree that you cannot keep up with the character per hour requirements. All communications with the in-house are negative.

Pros

Bazaarvoice has an established telecommuting staff.

Cons

The pay is extremely poor for this position. You could make as much working at the grocery store. This is labeled as an Analyst position, but there's not a whole lot of analyzing going on. It's more like a technician position. For a position that requires computer literacy, the pay is just much too low. It needs to be $15/hour minimum.
