Pros

-great new office space -stocked break areas with sodas/teas/waters/coffees and all sort of snack items -Friday all-hands meetings, with a keg!

Cons

-product whose profound bugs and feature limitations make it hard to sell against competitor products -we have been told that we are to 'get the credit card number and move on'--so it's not relationship-based selling but a land grab whether or not the prospect truly needs the product -the claim of every employee having a voice--this couldn't be further from the truth -a boys club to rival the best of them -no appreciation or respect for the amounts of work one puts in, no matter how far above -V-level staff are crude, inappropriate, and nightmarish -HR has wildly inconsistent practices regarding employee handling -such unrealistic goals that some employees game the system to 'meet' those goals and then are subsequently rewarded for gaming the system, while those who don't cheat the system are punished for not reaching those realistically unreasonable goals -we don't receive technical training on the product, so even if we wanted to our had the liberty and luxury to make appropriate sales, we don't understand the product

Pros

Just moved to a nice office, health insurance is free for employees, snacks, coffee, beer on Fridays most of the people are great.

Cons

The company is truly a joke. Its not a real company. Odds are the entire thing is going down the pishadoo. VC funding has propped it up to mask serious issues. Its basically a front for a few people to get rich, but those execs/VPs, etc. failed to learn even the most fundamental aspects of the business. Therefore, they make egregious mistakes. The business probably won't survive so they only want uber positive people that pay no attention to the glaring issues. All of the positive reviews are written by recruiters so please do not be fooled. They work people to the bone for hours on end and sell "culture" the entire time. It is really funny but unless you want to make a joke of your career don't sign on here.

Pros

Shiny from the outside and on the top surface layers.

Cons

Confirming others on the nepotism that runs deep. You have to be with the in-crowd to have a successful career. When people figure this out, it changes how they behave, projects they take on, and who they befriend. Many have been there (and only there) for so long, they are completely blinded (or in denial) and it sustains the distrustful and toxic environment. Narcissism, gaslighting, politics, and favoritism that’s longstandingly seeped into the culture, unfortunately preserved by complacent leaders. Process overload from inept and over hired PMO to compensate for insufficient number of experienced product managers. CEO can’t help but talk down competitors. Off the charts hubris in company DNA. Wasn’t much to be inspired by after seeing the best product and design people leave one after another. Unable to sustain talent, while mediocrity thrives and continues to make its way to the top. The good ones leave while narcissism and nepotism continues to fester from the top down across all departments.
